Seating plan

The live map of your event — who sits where right now, availability and category views, and click-through from any seat to its order.

Not verified yet

The Seating plan (event sidebar, under Setup) is the live state of the room: every seat colored by what's happening to it, updating in real time as orders come in. Where the seat editor is for drawing, this page is for knowing.

Reading the map

Two color modes, one click apart:

  • Category — each seat in its type's color, the same palette buyers see; the view for checking the zone mapping looks right.
  • Availability — the seat status legend: green free, amber held (by an unpaid order), grey sold. Seats you've held back out of sale appear distinct in slate and are non-sellable. The legend is dots and labels only; the live counts live in the stats row and on table hover.

Floor tabs switch levels; stats summarize seated capacity, standing capacity, seats sold, and the section/floor counts. Standing areas show their capacity state alongside the seats.

From seat to order in one click

Hover any occupied seat for a card with the order reference and buyer name — the card follows your cursor. Click the seat to open the order behind it. Tables shared by several orders open a small picker listing each party, so "who's at table 12?" is a two-second question.

This makes the plan the fastest support tool you have: a guest emails "I think I booked the wrong seat" — find them on the map, click, and you're in their order with Move seat one step away.

Live, always

The map updates as things happen — a buyer holds two seats, a reservation expires, the box office sells a table. No refresh button; what you see is the room as it is. The same live feed drives the public page, so buyers never pick a seat that was just taken (they get a polite conflict message if they race to the same chair).

Whether buyers can distinguish reserved from sold seats is your choice — the Show "reserved" publicly switch in event settings. Your own plan always shows the full truth.
