Box office
Sell in person — pick seats on the map, add standing tickets, choose Sell now or Reservation, and add labeled price adjustments. No commission.
The box office is the Sell tickets button at the top of the event sidebar — selling in person, at the venue or over the phone. It uses the same live availability as the public page, so the counter and the website can never sell the same seat twice.
Selling an order
Pick the tickets
Choose seats directly on the seat map and add standing types with quantity steppers — mixed orders are fine. The map shows live state, so you're always picking from what's genuinely free.
Enter the customer
Name, email, phone, and an optional internal note. The email matters — it's where tickets or payment instructions go. Returning customers autocomplete from your customer book.
Adjust the price if needed
An optional labeled adjustment adds or subtracts a line item: "Postage +50 Kč", "Member discount −100 Kč". The label appears on the order so future-you knows what it was.
Choose the mode and payment
- Sell now — cash, card (your terminal), or complimentary. The order is created paid, tickets are emailed on the spot.
- Reservation — bank transfer or pay at the door. Seats are held with an expiry; the buyer gets payment instructions and the order behaves like any web reservation (reminders, expiry, matching).
Create the order
One click, one atomic order. If a chosen seat was snapped up in the meantime, the map simply refreshes and you re-pick — no broken half-orders.
Why the box office is special
- No commission. Box-office sales are free of Bookitive fees — only paid online tickets carry the commission. See Billing.
- It ignores "Pause all sales". Pausing the public sale keeps the counter working — pause, fix, keep selling in person.
- Complimentary is a payment method — free tickets with the full ticket experience (QR codes, check-in, guest list), minus the money.
Phone orders are just box-office reservations: take the details, pick the seats, choose bank transfer, and the buyer receives the same payment email with the QR code as a web customer.
