Notifications
Operational alerts for your team — sold out, near capacity, refund spikes, new waitlist signups, and a weekly sales digest — sent to one shared recipient.
Notifications (Settings → Notifications) keep your team informed without anyone staring at the dashboard. They're operational alerts about your events — not buyer emails — delivered to a single recipient you choose.
One shared recipient
All alerts go to one recipient email. A shared mailbox works
well — [email protected] — "so the whole team sees the alerts."
This is deliberate: notifications are about the organization's events,
and a shared inbox means coverage doesn't depend on one person reading
their mail.
The five alerts
| Alert | Fires when | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly sales digest | A summary of the week's sales across your events. | On |
| Event sold out | An event reaches capacity. | On |
| Near capacity | An event is close to selling out. | Off |
| Refund spike | An unusual number of refunds in a short window. | Off |
| New waitlist signup | Someone joins the waitlist for a sold-out event. | Off |
The two most useful — the weekly digest and sold out — are on by default; the noisier three are off until you want them. Toggle each independently.
What they're for
- Sold out / near capacity — your cue to add capacity, open the next price phase, or promote a waitlist.
- Refund spike — an early warning that something's wrong (a cancelled headliner, a pricing error) worth looking at now, not at month's end.
- New waitlist signup — pent-up demand forming, once per event.
- Weekly digest — the Monday-morning "how did we do?" without opening the app.
Notifications are organization-level, to the shared recipient — not per-person. Individual team members can't yet set their own preferences; per-member notification settings are planned. For now, a shared address is the intended pattern.
