Billing

How Bookitive charges — a commission per paid online ticket, frozen at the moment of sale, with box-office and free tickets always free.

Not verified yet

Bookitive's pricing is simple and aligned with you: a small commission per paid online ticket. No monthly platform fee, no charge for the tickets you give away or sell in person. If you don't sell online, you don't pay.

Billing lives under Settings → Billing.

What's charged, and what isn't

  • Charged — each paid, online ticket, at your plan's percentage with a per-ticket cap.
  • Free — box-office sales (sold in person) and free/zero-price tickets carry no commission at all.

The commission is always rounded in your favor (down, never against you), and because it's capped per ticket, a high-value ticket never costs a disproportionate fee.

Terms are frozen at the sale

Each ticket's commission is locked in at the moment it's sold — so changing your plan, or Bookitive changing its rates, never retroactively re-prices tickets you already sold. What you saw when the ticket sold is what you're billed. When you refund a ticket through Bookitive, its commission is credited back.

Monthly, by invoice

Commissions accumulate through the month and close into one monthly invoice. Bookitive never takes money from your sales (buyers pay you directly — see Payments); instead it invoices you for the accrued commission, which you pay like any supplier bill. Details: Invoices.

Because money flows buyer → you directly and commission is billed separately, your cash flow is never gated by Bookitive. You hold your revenue from day one; the commission is a monthly bill, not a cut skimmed before you're paid.
