Share & embed

The public event link, a poster-ready QR code, the UTM builder for tracked campaigns, and the website embed snippet.

Share & embed (in the event sidebar under Growth) is where your event meets the world: the hosted public link, a scannable QR code for posters, tagged links for campaigns, and the snippet that embeds the whole checkout into your own website.

Every published event has a hosted page at events.bookitive.com/your-org/your-event — seat picking, cart, and checkout included, branded with your logo and checkout theme. Copy it from here and share it anywhere. While the event is a draft, the page politely says sales haven't started.

QR code for print

Download the event QR as a PNG sized for posters, flyers, and screens. It points at the public link, so it keeps working even if you later tweak the page — print once, reuse all season.

Fill in source, medium, and campaign, and the builder produces a tagged link with a live preview — one for the Instagram bio, another for the newsletter, a third for the partner site. Which campaigns actually sell shows up later in your analytics tooling of choice; the tags ride along on every order's referrer.

Embedding on your own website

The snippet drops the full Bookitive widget — seat map, availability, cart, checkout — into any page of your site:

<div id="bookitive-tickets"></div>
<script src="https://events.bookitive.com/widget/v1.js"></script>
<script>
  Bookitive.mount(document.getElementById('bookitive-tickets'), {
    baseUrl: 'https://api.bookitive.com',
    org: 'your-org',
    event: 'your-event',
  });
</script>

Buyers never leave your domain, while payments, captcha, and phone verification still run safely on Bookitive's side. The widget is deeply customizable — floors, legends, urgency signals, locale, even a fully custom checkout around it. That's the developer embedding guide.

The Social preview on this page is a rough approximation of how the link presents when shared — the event's name, start date, and location over a placeholder gradient. It's not the real share card and carries no image or description; treat it as a sanity check, not a pixel-accurate preview.
