What buyers see
Your customers' side of Bookitive — the hosted event page with seat picking, cart, and urgency, branded to your organization.
Organizers naturally live in the admin, but half of Bookitive is the side your buyers see: the public event page, the checkout, and the ticket pages they get afterward. This section documents that surface, so you know exactly what your customers experience — and can reassure them when they ask.
The hosted event page
Every published event has a public page at
events.bookitive.com/your-org/your-event (and embeds into your own
site with the widget). On it, buyers:
- switch floors with tabs and pick seats on the live map, or choose standing tickets by quantity;
- see each ticket type's price and description;
- build a cart and move to checkout;
- see urgency signals — "Only 6 left", recent-order social proof — when you've enabled them;
- join a waitlist when a type is sold out.
It looks like you
The page carries your branding: logo, accent color, and a checkout theme you set under Settings → Checkout — a light-or-dark color scheme, corner radius, font, and a button label (the submit button keeps a fixed legal label regardless). Buyers see your event, not a generic Bookitive page. The hosted event page is currently Czech-only.
Honest and live
- The seat map is live — buyers never pick a seat that was just taken; if two people race for the same chair, the loser gets a polite message and re-picks.
- Whether reserved-but-unpaid seats look distinct from sold is your call (the Show "reserved" publicly switch in event settings).
- The public event page is indexable — it can rank in search and pull in buyers. Only the private token pages (ticket, order, waitlist, and collect links) are noindex, so personal links never surface in search.
The exact same runtime powers the hosted page and the embedded widget on your own website — so whichever you point buyers at, the seat-picking experience is identical.
