Bank transfers

The reservation email with a QR payment code, the variable symbol, payment deadlines, and exactly what the buyer experiences.

Bank transfer is the workhorse of Czech online ticketing: the buyer reserves, receives payment instructions with a scannable QR code, pays from their banking app in thirty seconds, and tickets arrive when the money does. This page walks the whole journey.

What the buyer receives

The moment a bank-transfer order is created, the buyer gets the reservation email containing:

  • Your account number — the payout account from Payments.
  • The amount — exact, in the event's currency.
  • The variable symbol — the order's reference; this is what matching keys on.
  • A QR payment code — the standard Czech QR platba format every banking app scans; account, amount, and symbol prefilled, so mistyping is nearly impossible.
  • The deadline — when the reservation expires if unpaid.

The email's wording is yours to edit — see Emails — and it carries your branding.

The deadline

Reservations hold seats, so they can't live forever. The default hold is 72 hours; each order's deadline can be adjusted individually in its detail. Before it runs out, the optional reminder email nudges the buyer (default: 24 hours ahead); after it runs out, the order expires and the seats return to sale.

Deadlines are shown in the event's timezone; when that differs from yours, emails make the zone explicit so nobody argues about midnight. Pick a hold that matches your sales pace — 72 hours is generous early on; event week, many organizers shorten new orders to a day.

When the money arrives

  • With Fio matching connected, the incoming transfer settles the order automatically — tickets go out within a minute of the money landing, day or night.
  • Without it, you check your bank and mark orders paid manually — everything else behaves identically.

A payment that arrives after expiry doesn't resurrect the order — the seats may already belong to someone else. The money simply sits in your account; contact the buyer, and either sell them new seats or refund manually.
